Colorado Adventure Point is a great resource for families homeschooled children: With programs such as Monday Mad Scientist Camp and Open Adventure Day, Colorado Adventure Point (CAP) has a variety of exciting educational programs to engage and inspire children. Visitors start with a climb on the two-story climbing wall, and then head to one of the instructors to learn about the physics and mechanics of what he or she just did. Afterwards, they can check out the Culinary Lab to learn about chemistry through cooking (and take home their creation). To end the day, students get to have some fun in the archery range, and see angles and mathematics in action.

Erin transformed Sticky Fingers Cooking from a brick and mortar children's cooking school to 100% mobile in 2011. They now offer hundreds of classes.

Blakeman's sewing classes teach you about sewing machines and how to sew. They provide all the materials and sewing machines or you can bring your own.

Common Threads is a boutique consignment store that also offers classes and camps for kids, tweens, and teens. There are beginner and advanced classes for knitting, crochet, garment replicating, sewing, costumes, fashion sketching, and screen printing.

Fabricate is a contemporary fabric boutique inspiring people to learn to sew, quilt, embroider, felt, mend, upholster, up-cycle, and create. They offer carefully sourced designer knit, quilt-weight, and home decor fabrics. They also supply unique sewing patterns, books, and notions, as well as embroiders, felting and hand-sewing kits.
