The Aurora Municipal Court offers court tours, and school field trips for students all over the Denver Metro Area. During the field trip the students are able to play the roles of the court by performing a mock trial. The response to this activity is extremely positive. Built as a private residence in 1908, the house has been available for use by Governors since 1960, serving both as a family home, and site for official Governor's functions. The 2006 renovation of the original Carriage House, and addition of the Tebo Visitors Center and Viki and Jack Thompson Gardens, has brought this stately house to a new level of beauty and service to the people of Colorado.
